taken this day before me, the undersigned, one of His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said Colony, who states:--
I am Lun Mun, 27, boatman, coffin-boat No. 703; the boat belongs to my Master Mong Man On the 27th. day of the 2nd. toon. (25th. March) ay Master Long kan told us to follow the launch which he was on with our boat. Me did so, Cn arriving near Stonecutters

B.M. another launch with my Master on board threw us a rope and .........
took us in tow. My Master then went ashore. The Launch towed us to
Chek Man. He then anchored and about an hour after another launch.
naued the "bwong Hang" took us in tow. The "taong hang" is a Chinese
Gunboat, They Lowered & small boat and took a passenger from the
Launch which towed us from Hongkong to the Kwong hang.
he were then towed to Tai Fine after reporting at the
Customs Station at Tai Chan. A boat then came alongside and took the
body away. he were then warned to leave,
